Over

Denise Vrolijk is gediplomeerd hondengedragsdeskundige, voedingsdeskundige en orthomoleculair therapeut voor de hond. Gedrag en gezondheid gaan hand in hand, daarom heb ik me, naast gedrag, ook gespecialiseerd in voeding en orthomoleculaire therapie voor de hond.

Jarenlang woonde ik met mijn honden in een drukke stadswijk in Den Haag. Tot Lolo in ons leven kwam. Voor hem bleek de stad geen passende plek, dus zijn we verhuisd naar een rustig en landelijk gelegen dorpje in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. Hier bloeit Lolo op, en krijgt meer vertrouwen. Zo mooi!

In mijn boek Stadshonden’ en het kwartetspel ‘Hond in de Stad’ leg ik op een toegankelijke manier uit hoe mens en hond veilig samen kunnen leven in een stad of dorp. Aan bod komen onder andere: de zintuigen van de hond, hondentaal, hoe honden leren, het effect van stress én leuke stadse snuffelplekken.
